Holy Crap! Pity my poor ears

This is so cool. Built to Spill and Dinosaur Jr. are on tour together and THEY ARE COMING TO OKC!

Wow! I'm in there like swimwear!

By the way Dinosaur Jr. has a new album out and it is really quite good. If you liked "Bug" or "Living All Over Me" (and who doesn't?), you will definitely like the new one.

Finally, the other writer on this blog is giving me something to really connect to.

"Awesome" was the only thing I could say to Doug Martsch when I saw Built to Spill in Nuernberg back in October.

Unfortunately, they did not sell enough tickets, they had to move to a smaller venue. There was no back-stage, so Martsch said something like "Well, we could go and duck behind our equipment, you keep clapping, we stand up again and give encores. Or we could just do it." And they did.

Awesome!

I agree that BTS is awesome. I have seen them before and the show was great. They closed it with an epic version of Neil Young's "Cortez the Killer"!

My favorite German band is The Notwist. do you like them, Martin?

Hm, somehow my reply disappeared.

I would have loved to see Cortez live. The Live-album version is one of my absolute favorites, no doubt.

The Notwist are a nice combo indeed. I have never seen them live though, don't know why it never happened.

But I remember listenting to One With The Freaks in the Duke Computer Lab over and over again during night-time. Mungowitz probably has this on video tape.
